Thu, 17-Jul-03 Fit fittings to hull - chainplates, pintles, drain bungs, ally strips (that hold the trampoline). They have to come off again of course for hull sanding and final paint coats

Sat, 19-Jul-03 Sanding hulls. Started on trolley - fibreglass tape and epoxy pieces for joining cups and axle. First paint coat on hulls. Big moment, no more epoxying. Looks like it will need three coats
Sun, 20-Jul-03 Second paint coat on hull sides. Tillers
Mon, 21-Jul-03 Third paint coat on hulls. They'll need four
Tue, 22-Jul-03 Fourth paint coat on hulls. Now whiter than white. Cutting aluminium strips to join mast to boom. Epoxy coat to trolley joining pieces. Epoxy upright bolts through tiller ends (for tube that links tillers)
Wed, 23-Jul-03 Fifth paint coat on hulls. Now as white as they are going to get
Fri, 25-Jul-03 First paint coat on decks and crossbeams
Sat, 26-Jul-03 Second coat on decks and crossbeams

Sun, 27-Jul-03 Third paint coat on decks and crossbeams. Rivetting fittings onto mast and boom, making gooseneck and fixing it to boom
Mon, 28-Jul-03 Fourth coat on decks and crossbeams, first coat on rudders and outside of rudder cheeks

Tue, 29-Jul-03 Last coat on decks and crossbeams, second coat on rudders and outside of rudder cheeks

Wed, 30-Jul-03 Start on trampoline - make template, cut out left and right handpieces. Another coat on rudders and outside of rudder cheeks
Thu, 31-Jul-03 Start sewing trampoline. Mark out, mask up and first coat of contrasting black stripe on hulls
