Thu, 26-Jun-03 Detail sanding, start making mast plugs. I've decided to make a sealed mast (even though I purchased the mast section with fittings). This should prevent inversion if the boat capsizes, but means that the halyards and blocks will be mounted externally
Fri, 27-Jun-03 Reducing the gap where chainplates pass through gunwhales (with thickened epoxy). First coat of epoxy on rudders. Another coat on inside of rudder cheeks
Sat, 28-Jun-03 Three coats of epoxy to decks. This is the final layer which will below the painted finish, so the end is now officially in sight! Cut mast to length, trued up ends
Sun, 29-Jun-03 Three coats of epoxy to hulls
Mon, 30-Jun-03 Finalising order for trampoline, sails materials
What's next? July!
